Electrical and Mechanical Technician (f/m/d)

Your mission

Join aevoloop, one of Europe’s fast-scaling deep-tech startups, and help build pioneering next-generation plastics.

  • Maintain the polymer synthesis, characterization, and processing equipment of aevoloop’s labs

  • Design and implement custom-made modifications to optimize and improve the existing lab equipment as well as end-to-end responsibility from drafting, calculating, designing, and building tailor made solutions for individual problems

  • Build and maintain a mechanical & electrical workshop as well as a storage of spare parts for the individual devices

  • Build and maintain an inventory of the lab devices, individual parts, and spare parts

Your profile

  • You successfully completed a mechatronics apprenticeship or studying mechanical and electrical engineering or a related field with a B.Eng. degree

  • You have at least 2 years job experience in mechanical and electrical engineering work in an industrial chemical environment. Ideally, you have worked in a plastics processing lab

  • You know how to help yourself when facing technical challenges and work independently

  • You bring a hands-on mindset, structure your work efficiently, and collaborate seamlessly across disciplines – even under the dynamics of a fast-paced start-up environment

Deine Aufgaben

Werde Teil von aevoloop, einem der am schnellsten wachsenden Deep-Tech-Startups Europas, und hilf dabei, wegweisende Kunststoffe der nächsten Generation zu entwickeln.

  • Wartung der Geräte zur Polymersynthese, -charakterisierung und -verarbeitung in unseren Laboren

  • Entwurf und Umsetzung maßgeschneiderter Modifikationen zur Optimierung und Verbesserung der bestehenden Laborausrüstung sowie ganzheitliche Verantwortung von der Ausarbeitung, Berechnung und Konstruktion bis hin zum Bau individuell angepasster Lösungen für spezifische technische Herausforderungen

  • Aufbau und Pflege einer mechanischen und elektrischen Werkstatt sowie eines Ersatzteillagers für die einzelnen Geräte

  • Aufbau und Pflege eines Inventars der Laborgeräte, Einzelteile und Ersatzteile

Dein Profil

  • Erfolgreich abgeschlossene Ausbildung im Bereich Mechatronik oder ein Studium im Maschinenbau, in der Elektrotechnik oder in einem verwandten Fachgebiet mit einem Abschluss als B.Eng.

  • Mindestens zwei Jahre Berufserfahrung in mechanischen und elektrotechnischen Tätigkeiten in einem industriell-chemischen Umfeld, idealerweise in einem Kunststoffverarbeitungslabor

  • Gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift, gute Deutschkenntnisse von Vorteil

  • Eigenständiges Arbeiten und Lösungsfindung bei technischen Herausforderungen

  • Hands-on-Mentalität, strukturierte und effiziente Arbeitsweise sowie interdisziplinäre Zusammenarbeit auch in der dynamischen Umgebung eines schnell wachsenden Startups
